What is MNOPTA?
MNOPTA stands for Merchant Navy Officers’ Preparation and Training Academy. We help Merchant Navy aspirants prepare for IMU-CET, shipping company sponsorship examinations, interviews, psychometric assessments and other stages of the selection process.
What courses does MNOPTA offer for Merchant Navy aspirants?
MNOPTA offers 3-month, 6-month and 1-year preparation programmes for IMU-CET and sponsorship examinations. Students can also choose stage-specific sponsorship preparation and one-to-one counselling based on their requirements.
Does MNOPTA prepare students for IMU-CET?
Yes. Our IMU-CET preparation covers the major subjects required for the examination, including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English, General Aptitude and General Knowledge, along with regular practice and exam-oriented preparation.
What does Merchant Navy sponsorship preparation include?
Our sponsorship preparation can include written examination practice, essay writing, psychometric assessment and personal interview preparation. Students can prepare for the complete process or only for the stage they need help with.
Does MNOPTA offer online Merchant Navy coaching?
Yes. Online preparation is available for students who cannot attend classes in Dehradun. Depending on the programme, students can receive academic preparation, interview practice, psychometric preparation and mentoring remotely.
Is classroom coaching available at MNOPTA?
Yes. Students can attend classroom preparation at MNOPTA’s Dehradun centre. Classroom programmes provide structured learning, regular practice and direct interaction with faculty and mentors.
